MAHSA's Diploma in Early Childhood Education offers one the opportunity for a fulfilling and rewarding career. It is for a wide range of people who have an interest in children’s growth and well-being and the quality of care children receive. The ECE programme will prepare graduates who will be highly qualified early childhood professionals and practitioners, proficient in the field of early childhood education in line with the government’s aspiration of upgrading the early childhood profession. Graduates will have a strong foundation of educational philosophies and theory and will be competent in current pedagogical approaches and practical skills. They will have the ability to create a learning environment that facilitates learning and the total development of the child.
SPM
Pass with a minimum of credits in 3 subjects
UEC
Pass with a minimum of a Grade B in 3 subjects
O-Levels
Pass with a minimum of a Grade C in 3 subjects
SKM
Pass level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of a credit in 1 subject
MQF Certificate
Pass Level 3 in a related field with a minimum of a Gred C with CGPA 2.00
STPM
Pass or equivalent with a minimum of a Grade C with GPA 2.00 in any subject
STAM
A Higher Certificate in STAM with a minimum grade Maqbul
Others
Any other qualifications that are recognized by the University Senate or the Malaysian Government that can be benchmarked to a related field.
