Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) is among the top-ranking universities and the only infrastructure university in Malaysia.
IUKL receives professional recognition from various local and international professional bodies – Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM), Land Surveyors Board (LJT), Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), Washington Accord, CISCO, International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), among others.
IUKL is affiliated with top-ranking universities of the UK, Australia, China, Ireland, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

IUKL offers a number of scholarships to outstanding students, such as IUKL Scholarships, IUKL Sports Scholarships, IUKL Cares Relief Fund, Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme, The Star Education Fund, and Sin Chew Education Fund.

IUKL has a recommended accommodation for students located conveniently near the university, known as the Student Residency at the Unipark Condominium.

Transportation
There is on-campus transportation provided. IUKL provides shuttle bus services to students to and from Kajang, LRT Sg. Besi and KTM Serdang. There are also shuttle buses services that connect you to Sungai Besi, Serdang, and Kajang. IUKL shuttle buses are also available to take students to and from the nearby Sg. Besi and Serdang commuter train stations.
Students can get around via public transportation e.g. Grab, MyCar and taxi.

There is ample student parking available within the 100-acre campus.
Things to Do Around the Campus
There are various malls located near the IUKL campus, such as De Centrum Mall, IOI City Mall, and Alamanda Shopping Centre.
IUKL is also located near Bangi Wonderland Theme Park & Resort, a water park complete with a swimming pool and thrill rides. On top of this, the Agriculture Heritage Park, Putrajaya and Setia Ecohill Park, Semenyih are also not much of a distance away.

IUKL has 24-hour surveillance, key card access, and strict regulation of visitors entering the university.

Applying to IUKL with SPM Trial Results
Students can apply to IUKL with their SPM trial results; however, students must submit their official SPM result once they are available.
General Education Subjects (MPU)
Students are required to take 2 to 3 MPU subjects per year. The subjects include the following: Hubungan Etnik; Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi / Bahasa Kebangsaan; Pengajian Islam; Pendidikan Moral; Tamandun Islam; Tamadun Asia / Pengajian Malaysia; Kokurikulum Activities e.g. sports, theatre, music.
Graduation Details
Graduation ceremonies are held once a year, usually in September. The cost is RM350. Students will need to settle all outstanding fees before graduation.
