  • Partnership aims to promote research in the fields of language, culture and education

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has collaborated with Suleyman Demieral University (SDU) to promote research and strengthen academic partnership.

Aside from research, the partnership involves student and staff mobility in areas such as Malay language and culture, education for the gifted and talent, quality assurance, teaching and learning excellence and postgraduate supervision in education, engineering and economics.

Malaysia is among the top destinations for the people of Kazakhstan to pursue their tertiary education due to the education quality, affordable fees and its 'closeness' in terms of development models.

For record, there are more than 6,000 Kazakhstan citizens currently studying in Malaysian universities.
