Chief executive officer Hew Moi Lan said that these partnerships from different countries have allowed its students to enrol for various internationally-recognised programmes and disciplines.
"The collaboration is aimed at bringing in more international students to study in Malaysia, particularly at SEGi Colleges, which is in line with Malaysia's aim to be the sixth largest education exporting country by 2020," she said.
In 2013, SEGi has brought in a total of 4,500 international students for the SkillsMalaysia invite programme. It is a technical and vocational education and training programme to bring in foreign students and trainees.
SEGi will invest RM20 million this year to update its existing campuses. its new campus in Ipoh, Perak is still under constrution and will be operational in 2014.
