No leaks found in regards to SPM History papers; no re-sit required

The Education Ministry has rubbished rumours circulating on Whatsapp and social media that both SPM History Paper 1 and 2 were leaked.

“Investigations by the Examination Board showed that no leaks took place in both examination papers, and as such, there is no need for the students to re-sit the papers. The ministry is upset that this false statement had gone viral on social media. We advise the public to not spread this misleading information as this can cause confusion among others,” it said in a statement today.

An untrue statement, purportedly released by the Ministry, had claimed that the papers were leaked and went viral. Apparently in this "circular", it was claimed that SPM students were to resit for both papers on Dec 8.
