Kolej Universiti Insaniah (KUIN) wants to absorb students from Albukhary International University (AiU)

Kolej Universiti Insaniah (KUIN), a university owned and managed by the State Government of Kedah, wants to absorb students from Albukhary International University (AiU) which is expected to close in June. The two universities have discussed this matter.

Since its filing to cease operations to the Ministry of Education in March, AiU has been offering its students to other higher education institutions in Kedah. AiU will continue to sponsor the students' fees until they graduate.

AiU sponsors AiU is known to provide free education to local and foreign students especially those from poor, disadvantaged or marginalised backgrounds.
