Harvard Business School, the no.1 university in the world according to the QS World University Rankings: Global MBA Rankings 2018, has surprisingly selected Malaysia as the destination of its next overseas campus, according to a report published by the Malaysian Reserve. This, the third Harvard Business School (HBS) campus follows the erection of ones in China and India. According to the exclusive report, the Malaysian government and representatives from Harvard have reached an understanding in setting up shop in Kuala Lumpur. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Razak is expected to make it official in the near future.

What will this entail exactly? Following the blueprint that was similarly employed in Shanghai and Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur can now expect to be home to the next ‘Harvard Centre’. The report adds that sources mentioned the Harvard Centre will train 10 Malaysian professors every year with the goal in mind being the creation of journals that meet the lofty Harvard standards, which may later be published by the university. This will be accomplished by placing a HBS professor here in KL to train this select group of individuals. HBS currently offers around 120 programmes around the world.Harvard Business School is the graduate business wing of the world-famous Harvard University, or better known as just Harvard, whose campus is located in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. Notable attendees of Harvard include Mark Zuckerberg who created Facebook during his tenure there, as well as former President of the United States, Barack Obama.

Here's hoping that this all pans out and Malaysians may soon be able to attend Harvard Business School! View the original report by the Malaysian Reserve here
