Choosing a course is indubitably one of the most difficult decisions a student will have to make, and rightly so. However, after the long hours an individual spends conducting research, one other decision tends to be swept under the rug, more often than not, unintentionally. The final reason why intake dates are so important is to, well, avoid rust. No, we don’t mean that kind of rust so please put the WD-40 away. The rust we’re referring to is caused by students who fall into the post-exam coma, deciding to do nothing but eat, sleep, and watch some TV.
