SPM is almost over and therefore students like you need to plan awesome activities!
Most students are highly pumped up knowing that SPM season is coming to an end. Rather than just wasting time at home doing nothing, here are some of the suggestions for students to really make full use of their free time.
Use the leisure time that you have and spend it with your family and friends. Create new memories by doing outdoor activities, going out for BBQs or as simple as enjoying the food served by your mother. Take time to share stories or experiences with the people around you as the impromptu conversations that you are having might be beneficial in the future.
Identify your interests, talents and capabilities. It could be in terms of academic in which you take up classes to improve your proficiency level in the subject matter. Other than that, you are also highly encouraged to identify your strengths and weaknesses so that you would know in which aspect that you need to improve on. Knowing your strengths will help you to stand out from the crowd and be unique.
Do not just shut and lock yourself in the room. Venture out of your comfort zone and go try new stuffs that you have never tried before. For instance, be more adventurous and get involved in community services like helping out at the orphanage or volunteer to feed the homeless. Such activities are not only good to expose you to the reality of the world, but it also helps to make you a better human being.
The moment SPM ends, the free time that you have is very crucial as it marks the beginning of a new chapter in your life. Therefore, you need to be up to date with the due dates of university applications. You would never want to miss out on important dates now, do you? In order to do so, you should do some research on the university and courses that you are interested in. In addition, other than going online and searching for information related to your tertiary education, you can also refer to the immediate people around you. Ask friends or seniors about what to expect regarding the course or university that you are planning to attend.
Most people get way too much happiness from good food. Rather than spending so much money eating good food at expensive restaurants, why not you just make it yourself?! With the help of various search engines like Google and Youtube, you can simply search for and try out new recipes and pamper your family with your personalized meal. Good food and a warm kitchen are what makes a house a home!!!
