When looking for a business school, it’s important to look at the school’s accreditation. In the world of business education, the AACSB accreditation is a mark of excellence in education and is obtained by less than five per cent of business schools in the world. But what exactly is AACSB?
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is widely recognized as a leader in the accreditation of business schools. The association accredits bachelor, master, and doctoral degree programs to ensure that curricular studies uphold traditional and trending industry standards!
Graduating with a business or accounting degree from a school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) makes graduates immediately marketable.
This is because employers recognize that degrees from AACSB-accredited schools mean graduates have been trained to the highest standards regarding fundamental understandings of trending theories in management, accounting, and professional leadership!
Other benefits of attending an AACSB accredited business school:
You have arrived at the right place because the School of Business and Economics (formerly known as the Faculty of Economics and Management) UPM is the first institution in Malaysia and the sixth in Southeast Asia to receive accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Not only that, since obtaining AACSB’S initial accreditation in 2012, the School of Business and Economics has achieved yet another milestone in 2018 by attaining re-accreditation under a new set of standards implemented by AACSB!
