This course is designed to train students in light vehicle mechanics to develop their skills and certify they are capable to achieve the industry standards. Students will acquire knowledge on developing and documenting specifications and procedures, and preparation of technical reports. This course covers development and application of electrical and mechanical system modifications, management of environmental compliance in the workplace which is suitable for those working in the automotive service and repair industry at the forefront of the implementation of new technologies.
SPM / Equivalent
Minimum of 3 credits with a pass in English, BM and History – including a credit in Mathematics and ONE relevant Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject.
Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)
Level 3 with min 1 credit in SPM and 1 year working experience in automotive industry.
O-Level
Min 3 credits including Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject and pass English.
UEC
Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics and ONE relevant Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject and pass English.
STPM / Equivalent
Pass in Mathematics, English and ONE relevant Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject at SPM level.
Other Qualifications
Any other qualifications will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
City & Guilds Diploma
Obtained a City & Guilds Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or Motor Vehicle Engineering.
