This course enables you to gain the knowledge and also expertise needed to advance in the field of international business and management. It entails both independent study and team projects across a range of relevant, internationally focused subjects. You may also have the opportunity to plan and experience an international study tour.
During your course, you will have the opportunity to undertake a cross-disciplinary stream of four units. This is a multi-faculty initiative, linking the MIB with a wide choice of specialisations. The cross-disciplinary nature of these streams means you will have the opportunity to interact with students from other faculties.
Complete the MIB in one year
Eligible applications can apply for credit, based on a wide range of criteria and complete the MIB in eight units or one-year full time. Applicants with extensive leadership experience in relevant industry settings will be eligible to apply for up to 100 credit points of Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL).*

Credit for recognised learning (CRL) is the term Curtin uses to describe advanced standing, academic credit or recognition of prior learning.
You may be entitled to credit for recognised learning for formal, non-formal or informal learning.
Formal learning is learning that takes place through a structured program of learning that leads to the full or partial achievement of an officially recognised qualification. Recognised institutions include, but are not limited to, RTO providers and universities. Non-formal learning is adult and community education. Informal learning can include on the job learning or various kinds of work and life experience.
Prerequisites
English language proficiency
English Requirement IELTS 6.5 overall, no less than 6.0 in each section, or other proficiency equivalent. Completion of a bachelor’s degree in which English was the language of instruction can also be viewed as satisfying the English requirement. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
