In the first semester, students are exposed to basic understanding of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) terminology before going into in-depth OSH studies in the following semesters. Right from the beginning, students are guided to gain self-confidence in public speaking and to attend weekly disciplinary activities such as 'Coverall Day' and conducting morning briefing in order to improve communication and leadership skills. In the final semester, students need to undergo six (6) months of practical training to gain actual work experience. Students are required to prepare HIRARC report for their final presentation before being awarded the diploma.
