The Government is making it compulsory that all those involved in the care and teaching of pre-school children to be properly trained and educated so that they will be better equipped in developing young minds. Emphasizing the core values and skills required in the early childhood curriculum, this programe enables students to design, implement and evaluate appropriate learning experiences for early childhood settings. Students will also acquire a strong foundation in psychology to better understand young children’s mental processes and behaviors.
• Passed SPM/SPMV/GCE O-Level with minimum 3 credits in any subjects; OR • Passed U nified Examination C ertificate (UEC) with at least G rade B in 3 subjects; OR • Passed S ijil Kemahiran M alaysia (SKM) L evel 3 in related field and passed SPM with a minimum credit in one (1) subject and has undergone strengthening program (if necessary); OR • Passed C ertificate (Level 3 KKM) in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR • Passed STPM with at least G rade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; OR • Passed STAM (maqbul rank); OR • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
