TalentCorp’s Summer Programmes seek to engage graduates studying abroad and promote the diverse professional opportunities now available here in Malaysia, in line with TalentCorp’s strategic thrust of Optimising Malaysian Talent, which focuses on the pipeline of young Malaysian talent and is aimed towards ensuring a strong and sustainable talent pool to address the needs of the economy. The Summer Programmes will also create a platform for students to network with each other as well as with potential employers, ultimately encouraging students to get actively involved in the economic growth and development of Malaysia.

As part of the Breakfast with CEO series TalentCorp presents a session featuring Marina Mahathir. Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir is best known as an outspoken columnist for TheStar and avid supporter of women's rights. TalentCorp has put together an opportunity for students interested in speaking to Marina and listen to her share experiences working in a male dominated environment, and how she overcomes the challenges she faces as a female leader. Aside that, Marina is able to share about her venture into NGOs, various social causes she believes in and how she makes a difference in Malaysia.
Dato' Izzaddin Idris, appointed Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UEM Group Berhad on 7 July 2009, holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (First Class Honours in Finance) from University of New South Wales, Australia.
He was also formerly Chief Financial Officer/Senior Vice President (Group Finance) of Tenaga Nasional Berhad and has held senior positions in Southern Bank Berhad, Ranhill Berhad and Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad. Dato’ Izzaddin, sits on the Board of several UEM Group of Companies including UEM Sunrise Berhad, PLUS Malaysia Berhad, PLUS Expressways International Berhad and Faber Group Berhad. He is also a Board member of ACWA Power International, an independent water and power producer based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dato’ Izzaddin is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He also sits on the Board of Trustees of Yayasan UEM and is a Director of Yayasan Putra Business School.
Ms. Sarah Casanova serves as managing director of McDonald’s Malaysia of McDonald's Corp. and has been its regional manager of McDonald’s Singapore and Malaysia since June 01, 2012. Ms. Casanova would be responsible for guiding both markets in achieving their business goals. TalentCorp has put together an opportunity for students to learn from her personal experience, gain insight into career development and the leadership qualities necessary to succeed in today's competitive work environment.
