We have all been there haven’t we? Trying to score a job first and foremost requires you to attain an interview. So begins the painstaking process of creating a resume/CV that will capture the attention of potential future employers. Subsequently using Word documents to hash out a respectable one may sometimes devolve into a frenzy of frustration, spacing suddenly not appearing uniform, and the list goes on. Well, the good news is, there may be a potential solution to all these nagging issues, in the form of a tool called LaTeX Resume Generator on Product Hunt, a remarkably simple resume design generator.
If you’re not that good at designing layouts for your resume, LaTeX Resume Generator will help you create beautiful designs with ease - Image via LaTeX Resume Generator
You start off having to choose your template of choice, with eight vastly different designs to choose from, ranging from typically classic resumes, to modern designs sprinkled with some colours for added pizzazz. After you select your design, it’s down to the simple task of merely filling in the required fields in categories such as profile, education, experience, skills, projects and awards, all conveniently located on a panel on the left corner of the page.
After you’re done, all you need to do is click on the PDF button to immediately download it to your computer, ship it out and perhaps gaining a slight edge over the rest of the applicants for a job you really want. Below, are some of the templates on offer, all taken from the LaTeX Resume Generator website. Which one is your favourite?
