COURSE OVERVIEW

MSc in Social Entrepreneurship (By Research) is unique in that it combines classroom learning with practical field experience and exposure. During this programme, students will be required to create a new social enterprise, or contribute to improving an existing one. The programme aims to produce graduates who are not only theorists, but also industry exposed.

Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able: –

To undertake a major study of social enterprise/entrepreneurship.

To analyze contemporary developments in the global arena with respect to innovative and creative marketing approaches.

To understand the community and environmental dimensions of wealth creation and distribution.

To draw distinctions between conventional business and social enterprise.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.0 or equivalent as acceptable by the Senate; OR Graduates of equivalent qualifications who have several years of relevant industry experience & APEL certification for Malaysians. Evidence of satisfactory English language skills is required for candidates where English is not their first language, such as IELTS 6.0 or above or TOEFL 550 or above.
