Hi Shafiqah,
Diploma in Pengajian Islam Sejarah is the name of the course where you'll learn various subjects under its syllabus. Tamadun Islam is the subject every student must study during their university years, which is also included in the Diploma in Pengajian Islam course. Just like its name, you'll be studying about the history of Islam, including the different civilizations (tamadun) and eras of Islam.
Hope this helps.

Hi Hemalina,
Technology management is the study of applying management skills on how to appropriately use technology to generate wealth. You'll be learning how to apply solutions for management and technology problems and identify appropriate design of systems, components or processes to meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental considerations. If you have a university in mind that offer this course, perhaps you could look up their syllabus at their portal for further information.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.

Hi Naily,
Unfortunately it is not possible. You have to complete a Foundation in Science to pursue a degree in Psychology in Nottingham. Although their website mentioned that they accept any foundation, we contacted them to confirm and they said only those who have completed science stream are allowed to apply. However, there're 2 types of Psychology: clinical and non-clinical. The clinical one requires science while the non-clinical course does not require pure science subjects.
IUMW is one of the universities with this advantage. The requirement is to pass with a CGPA of 2.0. IUMW is a collaboration with University Malaya and University of Wales so you will be rewarded with 2 degrees. Please click here https://afterschool.my/international-university-of-malaya-wales if you want to know more about IUMW and would like to apply for the course, fill up your details at the application form on the right side of the page (blue box) and one of our counsellors will contact you shortly.

Hi Malathi,
Before we compare between the two courses, it helps to know what corporate communication and media design is about.
1) Corporate communication is the management of internal and external communications in a company that involves liaising with stakeholders, employees, media and the public through various strategies such as branding, corporate responsibility, investor relations and public relations. A course in Corporate Communication will teach you on the concepts and principles of human behaviour, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, media relations and management among others.
2) A course in Media Design will teach you how to communicate effectively using designs through the media. You will be learning about mass communications theory to the corporate sector, the role of culture and social structures in social change, global trends and their local impact and contemporary writing practices.
You can actually find this out if you google it :)

Do note that Foundation programmes are a little risky if you're unsure of your pathway to degree. You should first find out if the university you're applying to offers a degree in the course you want, and then backtrack to the foundation they offer at IIUM. So this foundation at IIUM only allows you to choose Bachelor programmes such as economics, business administration, accounting, and islamic finance only. If these bachelor programmes are what you're looking for, then this Foundation is the right one for you. Besides that, students are also not allowed to switch universities after they have completed their foundation programmes at IIUM. They are only allowed to study the degree programmes as stated and at the same university. Hope this clarifies your doubt. Feel free to ask if you have any more queries =)
