Going to the same hangout spots can get mundane over time, especially if you're a young adult itching for new discoveries. So if you're looking to shake things up this weekend, we've found a great spot for you to carpool with friends and 'chillax.'
MMU's Weekend by the Lake is a place where you can unwind with friends and family, with various activities to partake in from dusk until late midnight while enjoying good food and company.
The weekly event is initiated by MMU's alumni, Mr. Izham Fitri, Chief Executive Officer of Tho Mem Group Sdn. Bhd. where the public is introduced to MMU Cyberlake, that's filled with exciting activities for the public to enjoy, with more activities being planned soon in the Cyberpark.
When you first enter the park, you'll notice a few ducks swimming in ponds with glittering light on the water's surface, encapsulating a picturesque view. The entire park exudes a tranquil atmosphere, with the sights of fathers and their children spending quality time riding on the boat, giggling as they struggle to paddle. There are even fishing rods available for anglers, and you can see students hurdled up at spots doing exercises together, spewing "oohs" and "aahs" in an energetic spirit. Little kids are seen running around playing RC cars or blowing bubbles, with families and friends on inflatable neon chairs chit-chatting away. Food vendors are also there if you want to grab a bite while you sit on laid-out picnic mats. Imagine as you munch on your powdered cheese fries and sip your cold artisan coffee, chill melodies from Frances Forever accompany you with a superb view of the sunset; sounds like quite a relaxing weekend, isn't it?
During the nighttime, live music sessions are available for you to indulge in, from acts like Honeybadgerstheband, and movie nights on Saturdays if you're looking for a homey outdoor movie experience under outdoor light bulbs tied to the tree branches.
List of Activities include:-
