The Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) School of Computing and Technology (SCT) organised its third APU QR IT Seek at its campus in Technology Park Malaysia (TPM), Bukit Jalil.

The event was held as an incentive through APU SRT to promote the use of Quick Response Code (QR Code) in academics and entertainment. A total of 102 teams, 2 students per team, from the School of Computing and Technology (SRT) took part in the competition in the form of a treasure hunt.

Participants were required to search and scan for QR codes that were placed around the campus in various locations, and then answer the questions contained within the code in the shortest time possible.

Team Blank, comprising Yee Kai Nyin and Leong Khai Jiet, championed the race by having the most number of correct answers upon submission. Both walked away with a laser prinetr each, alongside with a Gift by Microsoft Azure.

With the event ending in success, APU will be organizing two more QR IT Seeks throughout the year of 2016, with different themes related to the field of Computing and IT.
