On June 30, the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin stated in a press conference that a new feature was added to the MySejahtera app on June 28 which allows students to apply for early vaccinations.
This will feature can be accessed through the Helpdesk section of the app and will help make sure that students can receive both doses of their vaccine prior to travelling overseas for their studies.
He said that, “Their application will be processed within 10 days and status can be checked in the app itself.”
Khairy added that the students who apply for this will have to attach their enrolment confirmation letters issued from the university they will be attending and those documents have to be brought with them to the vaccination centre (PPV) as well.
How to Apply for Early Vaccination via MySejahtera:
The Special Committee on Ensuring Access to COVID-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) also tweeted that students that made an application through [email protected], still have a valid application that will be reviewed.
