Being a slow learner at such a young age does not hinder Dr. Arrazeen from becoming a certified medical doctor.

Her mother, Dr. Norizah was brokenhearted when a school teacher refused to teach the young Arrazeen to read and write as she was the only one in the class who could not do so. She was placed in the last class due to her inability to read and write.

Determined to change the fate of her child, Dr.Norizah and her husband took the initiative to teach Arrazeen reading, counting and writing every single night. As a result, by the end of the year Arrazeen was able to read, write and count competently.

Soon after that, it had been a norm for Arrazeen to read story books every day. This is because, they realized that it is also the parents' responsibility to teach their kids, instead of fully depending on school teachers.

Arrazeen who was once a slow learner has now bloomed into a certified medical doctor. It just goes to show that children who are considered as "slow-learners" need parents to never give up and keep on teaching them with love and care.
