Still struggling with ways to capture employers’ attention? There are only so many ways you can be creative and, for lack of a better word, unique with your CV. Employers get an average of 200 resumes a day depending on the organisation, so it’s easy to be drowned or drift away in the ocean of resumes.

Azmil Hakim’s post on LinkedIn is perhaps the epitome of ‘thinking outside the box’! With an awfully ordinary yet captivating photo of an empty chair across from him and a request for an interview to fill that seat, so begins his fame with not just his peers on the internet, but employers from all over the world.
Following the post, Azmil has received ample praise for his creativity and originality from employers worldwide, many of whom are keen to hire him within their organisations.
Since the time of its posting, the original post has garnered more than 15,000 likes and over 800 comments. If this is where the path of job applications is heading, then millennials better strap up! The competition will just get higher from here.
