Is it for local or international students?

It is for BOTH local and international students.

Is it true that I do not have to apply via UPU?

Yes, you do not need to apply via UPU. Apply directly to UKM by following our how to apply guide found here. 

Will the classes be separated from students who gained entry via UPU?

No, there is no separation between the ones who enrol through UPU and this international channel. The classes will be combined together, therefore, this will be a form of encouragement for students to actively communicate with one another and also creates a sense of diversity in the learning process. The quality and accreditation is similar to the students who enrol through UPU. However, students who enrol through this channel will be given the priority to join our Summer or Mobility Programme

Yes, it is.

What are the courses offered?

What are the minimum requirements for STPM/Matrikulasi/Foundation/Diploma students?

If I studied X course (for example, Asasi) can I apply for all courses? If not, what courses am I allowed to apply for?

Is there any scholarship offered by UKM? What about PTPTN and other scholarships?

UKM does not offer any scholarships. However you may apply for PTPTN and other external sponsorship. 

When will I know if I was accepted?

UKM will update students by the end of August 2017 

What is the official closing date for applying?

Submission of applications should be done before the 17th of August 2017 

What is the date of registration? (Start of the semester)

Registration will be on the 4th of September 2017. Classes will start after the registration date (date will be informed by their respective faculties). 

How can I check on my application status?

You will be informed via email/SMS/call by UKM. 

Can I avail to credit transfer if I have a Diploma?

It is possible, but it would depend on your Diploma. You will only know after you are enrolled.

What is this Summer Mobility Programme?

The UKM International programme allows students an opportunity to travel and experience the sights and sounds of learning campuses from around the globe in countries such as Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Mexico, Germany, and even the USA.
