Medical common exam removed, but housemanship still compulsory

- Medical graduates need not sit for a common exam before practising in Malaysia anymore.
- Only graduates from unrecognised institutions, both local and overseas ones, are to sit for this common examination.
- There are currently 300 universities recognised in Malaysia.
- Two years of housemanship must still be completed by all medical graduates, nonetheless.
