Malaysia is aiming to put the country in the aviationindustry, particularly in education and training by 2020.
With the economic potential of the aviationsector in the Asia Pacific by 7.3 percent, compared to 5 percent for the world average, the growing demand in terms of spare parts, technology and services fosters the development of capacity in the industry.
In Malaysia’s National AerospaceIndustry Blueprint 1997-2015, four sectors have been identified which are repair, training and education, manufacturingand system integration.
Meanwhile, under the National Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2015-2030, Malaysia's main focus will be on engineering and analytical services to the industry.
