Malaysia and New Zealand recognise each other’s Bachelor’s degree

  • Malaysia and New Zealand has signed a statement of confidence (SoC) recognising that their Bachelor’s degrees meet the standards and quality in both countries.
  • The agreement launched the formation of a technical committee to provide a comparison report to determine the comparability between the standard of Bachelor’s degree set by New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) and Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF).
  • The SoC will make the exchange of students and instructors from educations systems of both countries much easier.
  • About 2,100 Malaysian students are pursuing studies in New Zealand.
