There are many reasons why students often prefer to study part time. One of the biggest reasons being financial strain. We know that studying at university can be expensive, especially with hidden costs. Most times, we even need to pay a certain amount to join clubs and societies. There are also parking fees, books, and other supplies that we need to pay for.
Hence, If you are going to be studying part time, you will have the time for side jobs to make some extra pocket money. You will have the flexibility to take day-time shifts without sacrificing your night sleep and best of all, you can study at your own pace since you will take less subjects every semester as opposed to full time students.
On top of that, you will attain working experience which can be used in the future for employment. Potential employers are typically seeking individuals with job experience as it directly reflects their ability to take up responsibility, manage time and communication skills. Therefore, once you graduate, you will have the upper hand with the right credentials and experience.
