Who would have ever guessed that a visit to an education fair could carve a clear pathway of success for certain individual? Eugene Kng Chin Wei who visited an education fair instantly gravitated towards Limkokwing University’s unparalleled booth. The design of the booth was different from others and appeared outstandingly unique.
As a matter of fact, he was so amazed that he decided to join Limkokwing’s Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture programme. This was the beginning of a successful career that Kng brought upon himself. He is now the founder and director of KNG Design Concept, an interior design boutique located in Puchong.
As Kng began his studies in Limkokwing University, the diversity in the university was the first thing that caught his attention. There are students from over 150 countries making it the most diverse international university in Malaysia.
Along with his experience as a student, Kng also shared that the university played a significant role in moulding him to be the person he is today. From being a timid and introverted person, Kng credits Limkokwing university for nurturing him to be more vocal and confident.
Aside from communication skills, the Bachelor of Arts in Interior Achitecture programme also gave Kng sufficient exposure to the world of arts and prepared him with crucial skills needed to be a successful interior designer.
Likewise, fellow alumni Zulfahmi Zahir, who is now a managing director of Centre for Content Creative noted that his journey as a student at Limkokwing University enabled him to reach his full potential, both as an individual and in the field that he decided to pursue. Being a video editor, Zulfahmi realized that the technical skills he had acquired during his studying days are now invaluable as he is able to perform efficiently in the real world.
Zulfahmi who graduated with a degree in Film and TV also specified his reason for choosing to study at Limkokwing University. Aside from being a top tier university in creative education, Limkokwing opens up various opportunities for students to experience working with relevant industries. As for Zulfahmi, he was lucky as he was given the opportunity to work with one of the best advertising firms in Malaysia.
Most importantly, Zulfahmi shares how Limkokwing University opened the door of opportunity for individuals to establish connections and make plenty of friends from all over the world such as Botswana, Lesotho, Egypt, Iran, Palestine and Russia.
