KYUEM's Malay Cultural Night

The Sukan Rakyat event, held over two consecutive evenings after classes, proved to be a highly engaging and competitive experience for all involved. The first day featured the Galah Panjang competition, which was divided into male and female categories. In the preliminary rounds, Topaz competed against Sapphire, and Garnet faced Diamond in both categories. In the male competition, Garnet emerged victorious, while Topaz secured third place. Sapphire, having lost the final, finished in second place. In the female competition, Diamond claimed the victory, with Sapphire in second place and Topaz taking third. Despite the brief duration of the games, the event was filled with enthusiasm, energy, and commendable sportsmanship from all participants.

The second day commenced with the Tempurung Game, where all houses took part simultaneously. Participants had to navigate a series of obstacles, with the goal of completing the course in the shortest possible time. Sapphire secured first place, followed by Topaz in second, Diamond in third, and Garnet in fourth. The event concluded with the Baling Selipar competition, where the preliminary rounds saw Topaz competing against Diamond and Garnet facing Sapphire. In the final, Sapphire emerged as the winner, with Diamond finishing second and Garnet taking third.

The event concluded with the Malam Kebudayaan award ceremony, in which the overall winners for Sukan Rakyat were recognized. Sapphire was awarded first place, Diamond took second, and Garnet and Topaz shared third place. Overall, the Sukan Rakyat was a resounding success, highlighting the sportsmanship, teamwork, and collective spirit of the participants, leaving a lasting impression on all who took part.
