KPJUC plans programmes to train medical specialists

- KPJ Healthcare University College (KPJUC) is in the midst of preparing medical programmes and getting approval from the medical authorities to train specialists for the country
- The programme will be implemented through its newly established School of Medicine that will focus on post-graduate programmes
- Professor Datuk Dr Lokman Saim was appointed as president of KPJUC and dean of the School of Medicine in February and will spearhead the project
- KPJUC will be the first private medical education institution to introduce post graduate medical specialty programmes besides local public universities
