The four disciplines that will cause growth in the nation are Islamic banking and finance, advanced engineering, hospitality and health sciences.
These four core disciplines will place Malaysia in a league of it's own; attracting foreign students to the public and private universities of Malaysia.
China and India are said to be sending their students overseas due to having too many students in their respective universities. Universities in Malaysia have been urged to look at drawing them to Malaysia as best as they can.
There are currently 90,000 international students in both private and public universities, and the government expects to increase that number to 150,000 by 2015.
