Erican students first hand experience in F&B Services

Erican's newset students got a taste of the Food and Beverage Service (F&B) as part of their first 'Food & Beverage (F&B) Introduction Class.

Students were exposed to various F&B outlets from different sectors of the industry. By observing the outlets, students had to record down all the details of the different outlets in terms of food preparation and service. At the end of the day, each group had to present their individual findings to their class at the KLCC Park. It continues with the week after where each group will have to choose one outlet and conduct a special interview session with the owner of that outlet.

This unconventional approach by the Head of Hospitality and Tourism Faculty, Madam Izwarni, is something where Erican College students will truly enjoy. It provides them with real world exposure and is a definite change of pace for the students, allowing them to get out of the classroom for a short moment. With productive and meaningful outings such as these help students to feel more confident and comfortable about the industry that they are training to join.
