MELAKA STATE HIGHER EDUCATION LOAN
The Melaka State Education Trust Fund was established with the approval of MMKN No. 1/2000 which convened on 5 January 2000. This fund functions under the Melaka State Education Trust Fund Directive Financial Events Act 1957 (Amendment 1972) Section 10. Its chairman is the YAB Chief Minister of Melaka.
The fund combines two state agencies, namely Yayasan Melaka and Majlis Agama Islam Melaka. TAPEM functions to manage and administer aid funds or loans, including for children of Malacca who will continue their studies to the level of DIPLOMA and BACHELOR'S DEGREE as follows: (please click the blue link for more info on the loan and education assistance)
Melaka State Government Islamic Studies Scholarship
Starting 2019, the Melaka State Government through the Melaka State Education Trust Fund (TAPEM) invites Melaka children to apply for the Melaka State Government Islamic Studies Scholarship to further their studies in Islamic studies in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Indonesia.
Higher Education Loans
These borrowers are offered to students who have been admitted to Public and Private Institutions of Higher Learning that are listed in the sponsorship of the Melaka State Education Trust Fund (TAPEM) only.
Financial Aid from Higher Education Institutions
This financial aid is to help out those who have successfully entered university. For those furthering their diploma studies, they are entitled to receive RM300, meanwhile those who are furthering their degree, master and PhD are eligible to receive RM400.
The condition for the application is simple, which is to accept the offer of admission to the designated university/institution of higher learning be it public or private university. There is no further info regarding the repayment of loan; however if the loan is from the state government, it is safe to assume that there are no interest charges.

NEGERI SEMBILAN EDUCATION LOAN
Negeri Sembilan also offers education loans but they did not put any information about this loan except to inform that for 2019, the Education Loan has been coordinated with PTPTN. In this regard, Yayasan Negeri Sembilan has been asked to give priority to PTPTN and applicants are advised to apply for a PTPTN loan first.
Only applicants who fail to get a PTPTN loan are eligible to apply for a Negeri Sembilan Foundation loan and need to submit a rejection letter from PTPTN as proof. Application forms can be picked up directly at the Yayasan Negeri Sembilan office at the Yayasan Negeri building, jalan Yam Tuan Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. PAHANG FOUNDATION EDUCATION LOAN
Yayasan Pahang (YP) offers Education Loans and Undergraduate & Postgraduate Grants for its qualified locals to pursue studies at Institutions of Higher Learning (IPT) recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by YP.
Education Loan
Pahang natives who pursue their studies to the level of certificate, diploma, bachelor's degree, master's degree and PhD at public or private universities, including foreign universities in the middle east for bachelor's degree studies, are eligible to apply. Undergraduate & Postgraduate Grants
This scheme was first introduced in 2000. This scheme is reserved for Pahang students who successfully continue their studies at Institutions of Higher Learning and payment is made on a one-off basis.
In 2019, the existing grants were rebranded and given a touch of improvement through Undergraduate Grants and Postgraduate Grants.
For the Undergraduate Grant category, students will receive RM500 while for the Postgraduate Grant, students will receive RM1000. RECIPIENTS CAN ONLY APPLY ONCE FOR EACH CATEGORY.
