Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya went on to highlight the three aforementioned countries and their respective problems, identifying how graduates from Egypt and Russia were not trained to handle actual patients during their studies, which translated into difficulties while carrying out their duties during housemanship.

On the other hand, Dr Hilmi sourced difficulties faces by graduates from Indonesia to the different language used during their studies, causing problems to arise as they try to understand and comprehend the medical terminology used in Malaysia. All of which, cause many to feel extra stress and eventually drop-out during their respective housemanship training programmes.
