All educational institutions under the Ministry of Education (MOE), including private and international schools (IPS) registered with the ministry, will be reopening according to the 2021 academic calendar.
In a statement released on Saturday, MOE mentioned that the opening dates can be found on the ministry’s website (www.moe.gov.my/takwim). For IPS, the dates might differ according to the institutions’ respective academic calendars.
As stated by the ministry, this opening will involve educational institutions across the country, including areas that are currently placed under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
It emphasized that the operation of all educational institutions is susceptible to the Management and Operation of Teacher Education Institute and Matriculation College in New Norms Guidelines.
The MOE will be closely monitoring the operation of educational institutions along with the Ministry of Health and the National Security Council to ensure that the health and safety of these institutions are prioritized.
