The Master of Science (Pharmacy) programme in AIMST University is tailored to fortify students in order to enhance their skills in research, bio-statistics and provision of top-notch laboratory services. This program leads to specialization in various aspects of pharmaceutical research, which is an integral part of the drug discovery and drug design processes. Core subjects are the fulcrum of the programme in conjunction with the research activities. Written and oral communication skills; conducting practice-based research with a thesis are the hallmarks of this programme. In first semester the programme covers theoretical sections in the subjects of introductions (pharmacy core papers) and biostatistics. In the second semester the programme students have to take a project that are aimed to develop and exploring the knowledge on drug discovery process.
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Min CGPA of 2.75 as accepted by HEP Senate; 2.75 > CGPA > 2.50 with 3 years working experience.
English Language Requirements
MUET Band 4 or TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS Grade 6. International applicants must sit and pass Bahasa Malaysia (LKM 100).

CGPA > 2.75. Need to take the bridging programme.
MQA Requirement
CGPA > 2.75, for 2.75 >CGPA> 2.5 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
