Overview
The Star emphasizing the importance of education in building a knowledge society. To support this struggle, The Star Education Scholarship was initiated in 1994 with the main purpose of providing educational opportunities to young Malaysians who are eligible and needy. Each year, The Star is partnering with local educational institutions and overseas to realize this aspiration.
Criteria
- Citizens of Malaysia
- Age not more than 25 years on January 1, 2013
- Excelled in extra-curricular activities & active in sports
- Not bound or receive any financial aid or award from educational institutions or other organizations
- Fundamental to the program & equivalent or Diploma courses, applicants must have good results in the SPM / UEC or equivalent
- For Advanced Diploma / Degree courses, applicants must have a good result in the exam STPM / A-Level / UEC or equivalent

- Completed applications must reach us within (2) two weeks after the release of SPM or STPM results. Late applications will not be accepted
- Students are encouraged to apply to the respective institutions for admissions separately.
