Overview

INTI invites interested candidates to apply for this scholarship which provides tuition fee waiver of up to RM15,000 per year.

  • Special talent - Possess special talents such as singing, dancing, acting, playing musical instruments, drawing etc.
  • Strong record of leadership

Scope of the Award:

  • The award is only applicable to payment of tuition fees.
  • In the event the tuition fees exceed the scholarship amount, disbursement will be equivalent to the scholarship amount. If the tuition fees are less than the scholarship amount, disbursement will be equivalent to the sum of tuition fees.
  • The award is only valid for the programme in which the applicant has enrolled in and for the applicant’s duration of study at the INTI campuses in Malaysia. In the event the applicant changes programme or transfers to another INTI campus in Malaysia, the scholarship may be terminated, subject to the approval of INTI.
  • The award is disbursed based on the length of the semester (short/long), course load/credit/subject.

  • All courses offered by INTI

Award recipient must achieve and maintain the following academic requirements to continue enjoying the award:

  • Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/required average below:
  • GPA 3.75 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM15,000 per year
  • GPA 3.60 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM10,000 per year
  • GPA 3.50 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM5,000 per year
  • GPA 3.30 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM3,000 per year

All short listed candidates will be required to attend an interview with INTI and will be notified of the date, time and venue of the interview.

How to apply for INTI Tertiary Scholarship 2013

The applicant must complete the enclosed application form together with a copy of the following documents:

(i) official exam results of the most recent examination; or 

(ii) trial exam / forecast results duly certified by the school principal - where the official exam results have not been released.

(iii) parent’s proof of income – Last 2 years’ EA Form / Salary slips for last 3 months, and last 2 years’ income tax form – Form B/ Form BE  (for INTI X-Cellence Award and INTI Tertiary 

Scholarship)

An applicant submitting the certified trial exam/forecast results (if applicable) should be informed that:

(i) the award will only be granted if the trial exam / forecast  result meets the eligibility 

requirements;

(ii) applicants who applied using trial exam/forecast results will not be entitled to an upgrade to an award of higher quantum if the official result is better than the trial exam/forecast 

result submitted earlier;

(iii) applicants who applied using trial exam/forecast results will not be downgraded to a lower quantum award even if the official result is lower than the trial exam/forecast 

results submitted earlier provided the official results meet the minimum requirement of 5As (not including A-) in SPM, except for Foundation category, which required 3As (not 

including A-) in SPM.  The Scholarship amount disbursed in semester1 need not be  returned but the scholarship will no longer be applicable for the programme currently 

enrolled in.

(iv) where the applicant’s official results do not meet the minimum entry requirements, the applicant will not be entitled to enjoy the award and is required to leave the enrolled 

programme
