The Food Institute of Malaysia was established in 1998, and has since produced over 3,500 graduates in the field of food service management and culinary studies. Operating out of Kelana Jaya, the institution opens its doors to students three times a year. FIM provides hands-on training to its students. Its teaching materials are well-researched. It strives to be the best food institute and is constantly working towards continuous improvement. To do this, the institute constantly benchmarks itself against other institutes, both local and abroad.
FIM offers Diploma Programmes in Food service and Restaurant Management, Culinary Arts and Pastry & Bakery. It also offers certificates and short courses in the food and culinary field.
