The international branch campus of Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, the Sarawak Campus was established in 2000, it is a partnership between the university and the Sarawak government. The custom-designed campus has a student population of more than 3,000 who come from countries in South-East Asia and the Middle East. One of the university’s unique features is its Industry-Based Learning programmes that have been around since 1963. These programmes were designed to give students the opportunity to undertake vocational training within industry. The Sarawak campus offers undergraduate and postgraduate research programmes that are identical to those offered in the home campus in Australia, as well as a range of English proficiency programmes. Students will get a quality Australian education and an Australian qualification.
