Food Science Technology is a specialized study about the physical biological and chemical makeup of food, the concept underlying food processing and application of food science to selection, preservation, processing, packaging distribution and consumption of safe food.
The Diploma in Food Science and Technology offered by AUCMS covers a wide range of subjects aimed at developing highly knowledgeable, skilful and competent undergraduates who can assist in improving food production for general public by involving themselves in developing safe and nutritious food with innovative packaging.
- Passed SPM/SPMV/O-level with 3 credits including any one of Science subject or
- Passed Science Certificate with minimum CGPA of 2.0 from any institution that is recognized by the Malaysian Government
