The Diploma in Culinary Arts is designed to produce qualified manpower at the operational, supervisory levels as well as entrepreneurs in the food business. The program of study will produce graduates with the skills necessary to operate and manage a food and restaurant business. These include knowledge and practical exposure in food preparation and delivery in mass quantity, marketing, human resources management, accounting and food product development. Strategically, it should help in positioning the nation as a centre of excellence in the halal food service and food catering business.
- A pass in SPM / SPMV with 3 credits
- Relevant certificate which has obtained the minimum standard required by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA / LAN) or has been granted MQA / LAN accreditation.
