Degree in Biomedical Science

STPM :

Minimum CGPA of 2.5 in Biology and Chemistry

A-levels :

Minimum Grade D in TWO of the following subjects:

  • Biology
  • Physics/Mathematics
  • Chemistry

UEC :

At least Grade B on 3 subjects inclusive of 1 Science subject

SAM/AUSMAT :

Tertiary Entrance Rank of 70 and Grade B in 2 of the relevant subjects

Canadian (CIMP/ICPU) :

Average of 70% in 6 of the relevant subjects

Foundation :

CGPA of 2.5 or above

Diploma :

Diploma recognised by the university’s senate

Master in Biomedical Science

Degree :

A relevant first or second class Honours degree, or a degree qualification, or equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government, acceptable to the University

Degree :

Degree in communications with min CGPA 2.5 or third class honours or equivalent

PhD in Biomedical Science

Master's :

A Master's Degree in relevant field and shows evidence of adequate related research or work experiences to satisfaction of Senate 

Master's :

A Master's Degree from other universities or equivalent qualification from an institution as approved by the Senate

Important Note: If you opt to study a Diploma in Biomedical Science and continue your degree at the same institution, you will most likely get a one-year exemption. This means that you can enter degree year 2 after diploma. .
