How does your education pathway look like?

What skills do you need for a Patisserie & Gastronomic Cuisine course?

Eye for Detail

While other chefs may be able to hide behind seasoning and different kinds of herbs and spices, pastry chefs don’t have that kind of luxury. One extra teaspoon of sugar could be the difference between perfection and failure. Precision is everything in this art form.

Patience

There’s no way two ways about it, a pastry chef requires patience. Putting your batter in the over and anxiously waiting to see if it’ll rise (literally) or sink is a daily routine for some of them. They know shouting at the over would be of no use!

Creative

Baking a cake is easy for people in this line. To stand out, you’ll need to constantly innovate and experiment with different ingredients to keep your customers in shock and awe.
