What are the entry requirements for an Marine Biology course?

Degree in Marine Biology

STPM :

Passed STPM with at least;

  • Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies
  • Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects

A-Levels :

3 Principal Passes

Diploma :

Pass Diploma with a CGPA of 3.00 or other equivalent qualification as approved by the Malaysian government and the University’s Senate

Matriculation :

Pass Sijil Matrikulasi KPM/Asasi Sains with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and receive at least Band 1 in MUET

Important Note: Diploma is not offered for this course. Students can enrol for a pre-university programme in science stream before applying for a degree in Marine Biology.
