A Master’s degree (MQF Level 7) in Engineering / Engineering Technology with a minimum CGPA of 3.00ORits equivalent from a recognised university or a Master’s (MQF Level 7) of Science or Technology (non-engineering or engineering technology)ORits equivalent from a recognised university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 may be accepted, subject to passing an internal assessment or with evidence of one year working experienceORother qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree (MQF Level 7) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 that are accepted by the University’s Senate.Candidates with Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) who enrolled for Master’s degree programme (MQF Level 7) may apply to convert the enrolment to the Doctorate degree programme (MQF Level 8) within 1 year, subjects to the following provisions:

• Displays competency and ability in conducting research work at Doctorate degree (MQF Level 8);
• Passes a comprehensive internal assessment by the University; and
• Approval from the University’s Senate.
