Hi Majidah,
Every course has its own difficulties and the main reason why students pass or fail a certain course depends on how much effort they put into it. For example, someone may excel tremendously in an IT course but another student may fail terribly in the same course because of how determined the student is to excel in their studies. See, the most important thing about education is not about passing your exams but about learning as much as you can and applying it in the right situations. So if you have a hunger for knowledge, an interest in a certain subject, and is willing to go the distance, chances are, you won't fail. Even if you do, you will get back up and correct that mistake because of your attitude to learn. If you really have an interest in software engineering, then you will naturally WANT to put in effort. Whether the course is easy to pass or not depends greatly on these three main factors. Seeing that you indeed do have an interest in software engineering, you would most likely excel.
Hope this helped you make a decision. We wish you all the best :)

Hi Ain,
Unfortunately, not. This is because Foundation programmes are catered specifically to students who wish to pursue their degree programmes in the same university as the syllabus is streamlined towards the university's curriculum. It is very rare that overseas institutions recognise it. So far, we have never come across any that accepts this qualification, especially Asasi in IPTA. If you have set your sights to study overseas, it's best to choose A-Levels or SAM but if you want to do a public pre-u programme, then STPM would be a better choice.
Hope this helps.

Allow us to give you a few examples: 1) A course in Medicine would cost the most as compared to other courses but if being a doctor is what you love doing because you get to help people, then you should go for it. Once you become a specialist or work long enough, you will receive a high pay. But you need to prepare yourself for some serious studying and endure longer duration of studying if you take up this course. 2) Some people just love teaching so being a lecturer is a no-brainer. A lecturer earns a decent salary. You can also opt to be a part-time lecturer where you have more flexible hours. 3) A Clinical Psychologist would require you to study biology as well, just like a doctor, but you'll have to deal with patients who are of unsound mind. Choose this course only if you can take the stress because patients will be pouring out their anger and frustration and probably behaving badly in front of you.
Malaysia needs more medical specialists so it would be good to take up MBBS and then pursue your postgraduate in a specific field to become a specialist.
Hope this helps. Good luck :)

Hi Husna,
PTPTN will not sponsor students to study overseas, similar with other loans and scholarships, especially for the pre-university level. It's best to do your Foundation in Malaysia because it's only for 1 year and is a stepping stone to pursue your 4-year degree studies. If you really want to study in Korea, you can do that in degree level. Some scholarships do offer students to study overseas in degree level, but it's more for postgraduate. Browse through the list of scholarships here to check the programme they offer and entry requirements: https://afterschool.my/
If you still want to study in Korea, you can apply for their internal scholarship offered at the university itself.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
