Hello Cheah,

Grade means the category that your exam or course results are placed in, such as A, B, C, D...etc.

Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is the measurement of your average grade points obtained in all the semesters. It will be calculated with the categories of A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0...and so on. All these points from your grades are then added together and averaged out to get your CGPA.

Hope this helps :)

Hi Yarisaa,
The best option would be for you to resit for your SPM Sejarah paper. Another option would be for you to apply to UPU Skills whereby it is a skill based program for SPM school leavers where you do not need to obtain an SPM certificate to be eligible. All they require is that you complete your Form 5 schooling. Among the programs you can apply for are Sijil Teknologi Awam (Binaan Bangunan), Sijil Teknologi Elektrik (Penyejukbekuan & Penyaman Udara Komersial), Sijil Teknologi Automotif (Penyelenggaraan Kereta) and many others. Kindly visit the link provided to find out more about these programs.

Hi Anis,

You can apply for the Top Glove scholarship. Browse through all the scholarships here and see which ones are suitable for you: https://afterschool.my/scholarship
You can also apply for the university's internal scholarship once you've received a placement. AIMST, Monash and SEGi all have internal scholarships.

Good luck!

Hi Irene

Yes you can depending on the University's requirement. Most universities that provide Banking or Finance courses require a minimum of 5 credits inclusive of Mathematics. APU, Segi University, HELP University, IUKL and etc are one of the few universities that offer this course with requirements that match your English grade.

Hope this clarifies your query :)

Hi Yee Xuan

Yes you can, certain universities that offer Foundation in Accounting will require a minimum of 5 credits inclusive of English and Maths. In order for you to pursue an Accounting field, the common pathway is to complete Pre- University (Foundation, A-Levels, STPM, Matrics, CAT, etc.) first. The requirements for these Pre-University courses do not require Accounts in SPM but it is an added advantage if you do.

After completing your pre-u, you can then head on to do your degree in accounting or ACCA if you want to be a Chartered Accountant. For your information, INTEC is one of the best in Accounting and ACCA. You can pursue CAT and ACCA there. If you'd like to know more about this or apply for this institution, please click here https://afterschool.my/international-education-college/certified-accounting-technician-cat, fill up your details on the right side of the page (blue box) and one of our counsellors will contact you shortly .

Looking forward to contacting you soon! :)

Hi Nurin,

Some institutions do not require you to have arts subjects to go for a Diploma in Interior Design. You just need to have 3 credits in your SPM. So if you have 3 credits, then you are good to go !

For your information, Erican College, Taylor's University ,The One Academy, INTI International University are some of institutions that offer this course. If you're interested in applying for this course, just click on this link https://afterschool.my/erican-college/diploma-in-interior-design, fill up your details on the right side of the page and one of our counsellors will contact you shortly.
