This five-year programme utilizes an integrated hybrid problem-based learning mode which inculculates a solid scientific foundation imbued with a strong humanistic values. The teaching/learning environment encourages the students to pursue exploration and discovery through guided exploration.It consists of two years for Pre-Clinical Years and three years of Clinical Years. Pre-Clinical Years are Year 1 and Year 2, were integrated curriculum which consists of General Module 1, General Module 2, Musculoskeletal System, Haemopoietic & Lymphoid System, Cardiovascular System, Respiratory System, Gastrointestinal System, Urinary System and Endocrine & Metabolism System. Meanwhile, the Clinical Years are Year 3 untill Year 5 is Clinical Medicine which consists of Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics & Adolescent, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Rural Health, Urban Health, Primary Care Medicine, Orthopeadics, Psychological & Behavioral Sc., Forensic, Ophthalmology, Population Health & Preventive Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology and Shadow Housemanship. The programme is designed for self-directed learning with emphasis on communication skills, computer aided learning and ethics. The first three years of undergraduate teaching is conducted at Sungai Buloh campus with year 3 clinical students attached to Sungai Buloh Hospital. Entry Requirements
Matriculation (Ministry of Education)/Foundation in Sciences UiTM (Asasi Sains UiTM)/PASUM with a minimum of CGPA 3.50 and minimum of Grade A-in Biology, Chemistry and Grade B+ in Mathematics/Physics; and Pass SPM with B in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one other subject. And Pass in MUET (minimum Band 3) Or
STPM in Sciences with a minimum of CGPA 3.50 and minimum of Grade A-in Biology, Chemistry and Grade B+ in Mathematics/Physics; and Pass SPM with B in Chemistry, Biology, Physics,Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one other subject And Pass in MUET (minimum Band 3) Or
3. Â Diploma in Sciences/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology/Diploma in Pharmacy/Diploma in Microbiology from UiTM with a minimum of CGPA 3.50; and Pass SPM with B in Chemistry, Biology, Physics,Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one other subject. And Pass in MUET (minimum Band 3)
